Key Reversal & Key Continuation Days

Postby ***FX-JEDI*** » Thu Jun 18, 2009 1:53 pm

I love KR Days :D
I thought I would start a topic on them & hopefully trade them when I can.
I think they give me a big heads up where daily may be heading.
Cheers ***FX-JEDI***

Hi noone,

KR Day stands for Key Reversal Day

definition as below.

KR or KC same definition,
Key Reversal next day may reverse
key Continuation next may continue same direction

I will explain how to trade them next post, go look for them on daily charts GBP/JYP great bullish KR day, EUR/JYP & AUD/USD still going long 2 days after bullish KR day, ( I have AUD going to 0.8380 maybe...lol just my opinion only!!) & see how good they are especially when they sit on a fib level :)

Some powerful analysis there Jedi. Very well done. Man people don;t know about the candle patterns. They seem to be overlooked but they give excellent indication.

Thanks PinkPanther, I was taught how to trade using Fib, trend lines, support & resistance & candle formations only, & to trade only when there is a convergence of these & a candle formation is present.

I only use 4 bullish candle patterns & 4 Bearish candle patterns to trade at these convergences.

Wow

Thanks TRO, man you work fast.
I was thinking of asking you if you could write an indicator to show KR days.
I guess you think we could benefit from KR days else you wouldn't waste your time...
You are the man..

I'm not sure how you coded it, I am no coder.
On the chart USD/JYP you posted, it shows Daily as a Bearish KR, in which it did finish as a bearish KR will it still show that it is a KR on monday? thats the day we look for a bearish trade at a retracement fib level from the KR days Hi & Lo on smaller timeframes.

FX-JEDI,

Since you are a fib user, you might find the indicator FibGenerator_TRO_MODIFIED_VERSION useful for your trading. It's part of the donational indicators.
