I don't see a TRO_HL_PriceBox that the template calls out.
When I apply the tpl the boxes are hanging out in mid air.

Hi aVi

Good to see your several recent posts. What exactly does the range gauge tell you and how do you use it in your trading?

I'm guessing he trades a breakout of either side but I can be wrong.

Do do you do it AVI? range gauge does not really tell you much more than a candlestick

Hello Patch. Nice to see you around, been really busy but I'm trying to make more time for my trading and developing a new technique around my schedule. The range gauge basically tells you every little intricacy you could possibly want to know about the range of a candle on whatever TF you choose. I use it to get a general idea of what price is doing, you can use it for whatever... determining good TP levels, gauging a feel for extremes, the avg portion comes in handy too. It's just something to aide you with whatever strategy you use. Who needs a squiggly when you got this handy little gauge... allow it to paint a picture for you.

That's all I need bud. :) If you look close enough, a range gauge tells you everything you really need to know. We all fall into the trap of wanting to make things more complex than they actually are. The gauge has nothing to do with my entry... but I do use it to get an "idea" of what I should be looking at post entry. All probabilities of course...

With that said, I do like to trade breakouts.

Welcome to Kreslik, I hope it helps you in your trading as it has me. Take your time. Be patient. Work consistently and persistently and it will come.
TRO2009_HLC_PIPS just arrived in the 2009.09.23 donational updates. Do a lookup under search for donational or donational indicators and find the thread by same name. This will tell you everything you need to know. The group of indicators also includes a handful of other indis I really like.
