Trading is like cycling, first you need to learn how.
Two options: you either lose or win!

I would like to ask you and es/pip....once you have made your analysis on a higher tf, found your entry from a lower tf....where do you manage your trades from?

i do it a little different

but i will either do 1 of two things

1. i will watch the m5 until it starts to go my way and then watch it on the time frame that the trade came from

2. i will watch it on the m5 and trade in and out of it on the way to the base decisions target.

if i feel real strong about the trade i tend to just watch it on the higher time frame.

but sometimes trading it on the way to the target you can make 150 pips on a 100 pip move--

I proved to Razorboy a looooooong time ago that i could take a big loss.
That's easy.

TIMING, IT'S ALL ABOUT TIMING. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS GET IN WHEN PRICE IS ABOUT TO MOVE YOUR WAY. TIMING. NO WONDER EVERYONE TALKS ABOUT ENTRIES.

did you put more money in your account?
why are those losers so large in dollar amounts?

thought you were trading 10cent pips?

es,
I'm camping in florida, I will be in a condo the next 3 nights and will then crank up the live account. (netbook/laptop)

Still holding the e/j short from yesterday. If the D1 upthrust holds.....we are going for some pips. It will make those few losses look like Rat bait.

ZLines

Postby jcelano » Tue Oct 13, 2009 1:39 pm

Yet another 15 min ZLine trade from this morning - good for about 30 pips. HUGE rush up followed by a nice 15 min setup..

15 Min ZLINE in Yellow

Any critiques appreciated!

Thanks,
James

I was thinking about taking the short but the weak closes below my lines and since i was in a long 1h MZ i just sticked to the long unless it started breaking the low of the ah momo. Great day so far.. threw yesterdays loses in the bin and bagged a good bit today.
