Solve the S&P and you solve bitcoin and alts…

If you looking for some alts alpha (crowd sourced) you should check out the leaderboard at Unlimited Cope (https://leaderboard.unlimitedcope.com/)

Solana is actually full of amazing things…

Mango Markets is a good place to start…

IDK, the internet says that the correlation is 0.6 and that prior to 2021 it was 0.2.

I just focus on two things, risk and potential.

PS: utility, real potential, not ponzi.

Both ADA and GRT are looking pretty. . .

algo, my love, is moving sideways in an anti-boner pattern :lol:
I'm sure it is just a bad week.

'The science' says that it is more likely that you will regret selling your BTC than holding it.

Once I had 20.000 btc.
I sold them for little over 10k and I was really happy....yes, I have some regrets
Once I had 40M doge.
Sold them before Elon twittered them to $0,70...yes, I have some regrets

The science is right but life is too short to keep dwelling on regrets...tomorrow is another day

That really hurts :lol:

There is no past, there is no future, there is only today.

Most of the profit is made through waiting; write it on a post-it note and slap it on the wall.

That said, it doesn't hurt to hedge your bets with nano bitcoin futures, over at Ninja Trader or Optimus Futures ($25 day trading margins).

PS: starting next year, I think I'm going to start buying BTC at a rate of a 60th of a coin per month (1 coin every 5 years).

Different people, different view. My wife's cousin is hodler type but then he missed selling btc @60K~ish level. Too greedy or foolish? I don't judge coz I don't know that much about these things.

I also bought Bitcoin above 60k. . .and sold it before the drop.
- have a plan
- follow the plan
- know why you are buying how much and when
- know why you are selling how much and when

I am currently net positive $518, even after this drop; trying to hold the line until we go to boomtown.

Naturally, if it were a futures contract, I would trade it differently.

PS: you can see why I want to replace the MACD, it is just too damn slow to respond, and the divergence is annoying!

You could "study trading" and BS yourself into thinking that you somehow know more than what can be seen on the chart,

or, now, hear me out, . . .

you could just "follow the science" :lol:

- green is green
- yellow is yellow
- red is red
- a bar flip is a LIS
- a 9 MASMO cross is an early warning

. . . you're not "the science", your only job is to put money into the machine and pull it out.

Slow Stochastic 14, 3, 3.
RSI 7.
Smoothed MA 7 + Traiangular MA 9.
Smoothed MA 9.

The bars are colored similar to the PowerX Strategy.

I yoinked 99% of this code off of TradingView and changed a few settings. . .
I know it's ugly :lol: but it works.

Code: Select all

//@version=4
study("PowerXYZ Strategy", "PowerZ", overlay=true)
//Triangular moving average
x = input(close, "Source")
n = input(9, "Periods")
trima = sma(sma(x, n), n)

//Smoothed moving average
len = input(6, minval=1, title="Length")
src = input(close, title="Source")
smma = 0.0
smma := na(smma[1]) ? sma(src, len) : (smma[1] * (len - 1) + src) / len
rsiLine = rsi(close, 7)
//-----Percent D (smooth)-----
stochLine = sma(sma(stoch(close, high, low, 13),3),3)
//-----Percent K (jagged)-----
//stochLine = sma(stoch(close, high, low, 14),3)
//-----Original------
//signal = trima[1] < smma[1] and trima < smma and trima < close and rsiLine > 50 and stochLine > 50? "buy" : trima[1] >= smma[1] and trima >= smma and trima >= close and rsiLine <= 50 and stochLine <= 50? "sell" : "none"
//-----Triangular Trend-----
signal = trima[1] < smma[1] and trima < smma and trima < close ? "buy" : trima[1] >= smma[1] and trima >= smma and trima >= close ? "sell" : "none"
palette = signal == "buy" ? color.lime : signal == "sell" ? color.red : color.rgb(220, 228, 114)
barcolor(color=palette)
plot(trima, linewidth=2, color=color.rgb(134, 174, 221,33))
plot(smma, linewidth=1,  color=color.rgb(134, 174, 221,33))

A little bit off topic... which platform do you think the brokers will push if they decided to abandon M4/5?
I need to prepare myself for this event or I shouldn't worry about this at least for the next 3 years?
