Proper Exit Plans

Edward, The exit plan is the hardest thing out there. BY FAR the hardest. Could you, when you get a moment share some ideas on what people should look into to create an exit plan? I've been struggling with this myself and I'm also struggling to explain to friends that trying to take 1R per trade or ...

Peter, I'll be honest here. I programmed in Java about 7 years agao and hadn't touched any languages until about 1 year ago. When I started to work on TS, I thought my classes in C back in college (about 10 years) were more advanced than what I could do in TS. Since I prmarily deal with equities, I ...

Annu,

What's the max number of symbols that you scan through in a day. Also what the max number of stocks you've automated in a day thru Neo?

It's also horrible at scanning and adding and deleting symbols. Apparently the developers think that it is a non issue.

Concurrent Auto Trades in Neo

How many NeoTicker automated equity trades could you execute and maintain at any given time? My buddy runs 20 strategy trades in TS and he's worried about being able to run so many in Neo. Any help would be much appreciated.

Annu, This seems to be a common theme. NeoTicker for one thing and something else for order entries etc. I swear I think TS is really dumb. Anyway, I am not a discretionary trader however, I there is a need from time to time to exit a trade manually. Ideally it would be best for a strategy to automa...

Edward, That's a pretty neat , actually brilliant idea. I have a tendency to not be able to adjust to a changing environment quickly and your methods could be a nice fix. For example, if the indicies dropped for 2 weeks in a row, even though I know the reversal is around the corner, I'm still thinki...

Edward, Thanks for the 2. However, what exactly do you Neo for then? I've read some of your other posts on Ninja and my friend says your comments were accurate. One thing I do know is that the Ninja's Market Analyzer is pure crap as of right now. You can't even easily insert and delete symbols easil...
