Saving the layout in NT

Getting the layout to the desired level in terms of background and candle colors and all is a pain given NT's lack of user friendliness. So i was wandering if there is a way to save it or default it so that next time i open a chart i could reuse it without going through the aggravation of having to set it all up again. Any input appreciated!
