Look at that you beat FTMO challenge in 1 trade. If 1.11 pips = 1% then you collected 28% . Nice trade.

Each session must be dealt with differently and each pair is different. If you follow those who says otherwise then it's your choice.

Sub 1 pip SL.

Even tighter than the one before. Asian session.

0.3 pips SL.

Solid 0 pip spread. 90 R.

2 hours give or take.

Fractal play. This is a very aggressive trade. The good thing with the Asian session is, if you get it right, you will "rule the day" so to speak. There are different ways to play with this thing. Expanding your WIL is a must.

I'm re-learning ICT stuff again from YT. Maybe I can gain more from the 2nd time watching them. I'm starting to see different forms of FVGs on the charts. Not only that but a slew of different patterns as well. Thank god there is 2x speed lolz

Was revisiting old trading concept and found out that you could do crazy stuff with it like catching tops/bottoms that seemingly appear out of nowhere. Well they don't really appear out of nowhere but you have to go back and sometimes far enough to find the zone. And even so, you will be baffled by the amount of zones from the past. And yet this thing can filter most of them out.

Check this out...

And then, look at the potential... could basically wipe out the entire day's worth of pips.

Holy moly.....

Catching a falling trend before it show a sign and the candle is still a healthy green. This candle does not count as a doji yet and definitely not a pinbar. Not an everyday event but my Sam S/D and fractal couldn't even catch this. On this particular example though, my Sam S/D could catch it but on many other examples that I observed, it couldn't.

Multiple entries for my WIL.

Take this chart for example...

There's really no precedence for me to take this trade using my fractal despite how thick my WIL is. Sam's is better at catching trade at ultimate top/bottom but on this one it could not. And yet, this stuff could. You'd have to go back almost a month to find a zone to trade this stuff but 1 min tf makes it impossible to keep all of your zone intact for a full month. Your MT4/5 will lag like crazy lolz

It's a superb stuff.

Now let's wipe an entire day's pips clean  Combine it with my sub 1 pip SL, hundreds of R day is finally here.

How and where would you put your SL on this trade?

A bullish pinbar is commonly used for bullish reversals and a bullish marubozu (full fat candle) after that is a confirmation for that bullish trend reversal. But in this case, the trigger is for bearish reversal ROFL

Price fell like 30 pips or so. If you put 0.5 pips SL, you will get 60 R. If 0.3 pips SL, your R would be 100 lolz

Contrary to what people think, I think this kind of trade is very dangerous and should be attempted casually. But that's mainly because I think differently.

When you revisit (read challenge) an old trading concept with your currently accumulated knowledge, things can go crazy.

This could've been a good 52.5 R with 1.6 pips SL on GU. 84 pips profit.
Nicely wiped out almost all of the entire day's pips.
Very dangerous and aggressive trade.

The good thing about trading the Asian session is, as I already mentioned, if you get it right you will get the day's worth of pips (or even beyond). The timing and overall bias are the main factors in determining when to hold the trade or not. Judging by the chart, you can see there were a lot of exits along the way but why hold up that far? That's a question for the beholder. I've found several answers to that question. You must find yours.

Now, the price of GU has gone into FVG (my style) in a certain tf. What will the price do next? Bounce off or break through it?

XAUUSD. 20 minutes. 3 trades. 34% profit. No need to push it.

I used a session indicator for easier viewing purpose. Glasses I hate using coz I need to tilt my neck ugh...

It seems like there is a (new?) prop funding firm competing for people's money. I saw the ads while browsing YT. I think it's called FundedNext (if I'm not mistaken). They got a pretty good offer, letting you get 15% of the profit from the evaluation phases. I'm not affiliated with them, go check it out yourself. Maybe a good addition to your current cash cows. Prolly let us know if you are already in it.

The idea of simplifying your chart is not a bad idea. OHLC is actually just OHL or HLC. And if you are a scalper using 1 minute anyway, the idea of using only the closing price is actually a sound practice.

Now that I explore the idea, my S/D, FTR and Fractals can actually be used even by using a line chart. But if you can't see the wick without it being printed on the chart then you will need something else for your SL. Of course, the result will be different than if you can see/ use the wick. There are several ideas that you can apply for SL but each will come with their own R potentials.

After pondering about line chart I quickly revisit another old play (trading concept) that I never get to use. I really couldn't stop thinking about the line chart and then BAAAM! A new daily anchor trade play and quick scalp is born.

When zoomed in...

This play will usually appear first before S/D but many times, S/D could not catch this type of trade. The best SL setting for this trade is a stats-based one. For this play, line chart is actually the best.

The best stop loss is no stop loss: if price does something that you don't like then get out:

Especially on a minute chart, it is more likely that you will get abused by a rogue wick than have price not only move quickly against you but so strongly that it actually closes without retracing.
