MISSED PIVOTS

TP Hit. Went well, got lucky, managed risk, made my bet, came out on top. Rinse..repeat.

GBPNZD for a short bias. Could be called a rat trade in the 15 min tf. I'm basing my bias based on the last 100 days, price has closed between S2 and R2 88% of the time. Plus the daily pivot has not been crossed.

Exited GBPNZD with a small profit, price did indeed close below R2 as shared previously. I held throughout the day, NY offered a good drop but I didn't exit at the drop so I missed out but can't cry over what's been done. On to the next trade!

Nice pivot fade opportunity on CHFJPY as a buy. Sitting below previous low, but eyeing the daily pivot above the daily high.

Multiple pairs missed their pivot Friday, GBP, NZD, and JPY pairs. Definitely some trading opportunities. Another good piece of information:

The times R1 AND S1 have been crossed in the same day. I like to see these numbers because as a new trader, the biggest problem I had was knowing when to get out. I didn't listen to taking small bites out out of the market. I wanted to catch 100, 1000, or whatever sounded big at the time amount of pips.

Knowing the "range" of how many times price has expanded past both R1 and S1 can help in stop loss placement and prevent too large of a target.

I'm in CADJPY targeting the missed pivot from Friday 05/28/2021.

Criteria met:

1. Pivot Crossed
2. Open Below Pivot
3. S1 and R1 have NOT been crossed

I attached another scenario in the PTA.

In the past 100 days, CADJPY has had a low LT S1 34 Days
In the past 100 days, CADJPY has had a high GT R1 51 Days
In other words - A total of 85 days out of 100, price has traveled to either one of these points. Switching it around...only 15 days out of 100 (85%) have stayed within a confined range of R1 and S1.

Thought about it! Reason I got out when I did. As far as entering, different story hahaha GBPNZD paid me well for my work, as well as a scalp on NCAD and UJ. Being a holiday, it's still one of my "best" days!
