Where is that Indicator?

Postby vincentws » Fri Nov 12, 2010 4:28 pm

Hi All,

Since joining this site, I have been quietly absorbing it all. I have had a total reformation of my view and approach to trading, a most exciting experience. Thanks to everyone for your support.

Since I do not yet have much to offer, in terms of trading knowledge, I thought I could help by uploading a document I created which I use to find where a particular indicator is located.

It lists the indicator names (alphabetically) and where they can be found. Now if we can just get a document describing in detail what each one does, that would be excellent. Maybe a group effort is a good idea; Interested individuals would adopt a set of indicators, load them, provide screenshots and explanations. Just a thought. Would really help the new people.

Strange thing; while experimenting with a lot of these indicators, I have spent so much time getting close and personal with the charts that I am finding I do not need any indicator at all to trade with. I just use SweetSpotsGold. Wow!! just horizontal lines. Hope this helps someone.

Enjoy,

Vincent

Ahhh ... A Treasure Map! Pure Awesomeness times a thousand!

I just joined the forum a couple of days ago and downloaded MT4 yesterday. Now looking forward to putting these "Tricky Little Trinkets" to good use.

Do you know how many there are in total? (not including the revisions)

As you said having a detailed manual/guide explaining how to get the best use out of each indicator would be exceptionally kool!

I have already noticed that having the right combination of indicators on a chart can be very helpful.

I have been trading for 6 months and have already blown 10k (whoops), so the sooner I get a clearer picture and a strategy that works for me the better. I will be using these indicators on a demo account with the Rat Method.

Is there anywhere on the Forum where people share their chart setups?
